Here at Kootenia we pride ourselves in performing both New Home Construction as well as Remodeling. Although both have similarities both are very different and take different PROCESS to complete correctly.
The first meeting is to understand who you and your family are. This isn’t about colors or pick from 3 or 4 plans. This is to truly get to know your unique needs and what you are looking for in a house. Also what is important to you (i.e. school districts, location, size of home, design styles, ext.)
The second meeting located at our office in Woodbury is to review design options and budgets from Exploration Meeting. This is what separates a truly custom home builder apart from many builders. We review design concepts and make changes that better fit the needs of each unique custom Home.
Now that a custom unique Design is achieved with a lot & plan we can put together a Purchase Agreement to meet your unique needs and budget.
After a final design and purchase agreement is achieved the fun begins. We have a unique approach and option for selections at Kootenia. We have an in depth partnership with selection showrooms available for each custom home. Every home is unique and can’t be pick from A,B, or C … the sky is the limit.
Final we after selections are made we have a Pre-Construction review. This allows us to ensure we have every detail planned for and adjustments needed necessary to accommodate your truly custom details to your home are accounted for. This also allows a timely build and avoids unnecessary delays in your home build.
The first meeting is on-site to understand who you and your family are and what unique needs you are looking for. Remodeling is used to enhance your existing home and improve how you live every day.

Sub Meeting / Review
The last and final step prior to finalizing a Purchase Agreement is to have any subcontractors on-site to review scope and get a hands on look over the project prior to work.
The final step apart of the Pre-Build process after all above steps are complete is to review final plans and Purchase Agreement with Remodeling Design consultant. This allows for any changes additions or subtractions and questions to be answered and addressed prior to moving into construction.
