November was a big month for new construction sales in Saddle Club, Lino Lakes. With this development in its final phase (only 8 lots remain!), homebuilders are jumping at the chance to build a custom home in this impeccable location. The neighborhood offers idyllic views of rolling hills, ponds, wetlands, trails, and conservation spaces, while still being in close proximity to everyday conveniences and the highly ranked Centennial School District. This combination of a tranquil setting, preferred location, in a great school system has resulted in the sale of our newest Kootenia model, as well as 3 new client builds this month alone!
One of the biggest advantages of building a home with Kootenia, or our sister company Michael Lee, is level of customization. Three of the four Saddle Club sales in November are for families who have begun the process of building their dream home. Each of these homes will be designed to reflect each family’s specific needs and lifestyle. Moreover, no Kootenia or Michael Lee Home is exactly the same. Each and every home we build is constructed with that specific client in mind. It’s also designed down to every detail before any of the work actually starts, ensuring each client is completely satisfied with the final product.
While all three of these families have chosen to build two stories, none of them are exactly alike. One family has chosen to have four bedrooms on the upper level, while the other two have opted for three bedrooms upstairs. One client is using more space to create a giant walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Another has chosen a large ceramic tile shower over a soaking tub. While all three have chosen to have the laundry room conveniently located on the upper level, only two can access that room from the master walk-in closet.
The main level is no different. Two clients have chosen an office on the main level, and another has an office on the lower level. One home will have a sunroom. Another will have a more formal dining space. Each main level will have an open concept layout, but one will have wood flooring throughout will the other has elected for laminate flooring. All three have Gourmet Kitchens with walk-in pantries, but the size and location of the pantry varies from home to home. Each home will have a three-car garage, but two have added extensions in the back for extra storage.
The Michael Lee home will have an unfinished lower level. The other two Kootenia Homes will have finished walkout basements. Both will have a large open recreation/entertainment room, guest bedroom, and bathroom. One will have an extra area that could be used as a children’s or exercise space. That same home will also have a separate carpeted storage room.
These differences are meant to emphasize the ways in which our homes are truly customized to each client. We find that throughout your home, the little things ARE the big things. Every detail, amenity, room location and square foot should be meticulously crafted in order to maximize each space.
It’s easy to see why so many people have chosen to build with Kootenia Homes & Michael Lee Homes over the years. If you’re going to go through the process of building a home, shouldn’t it be the home of your dreams?
