Stay at Home Executive Order Extended
April 8, 2020 – Governor Tim Walz extends executive order 20-33 in Minnesota until May 4, 2020
March 25, 2020
To our valued clients,
As COVID-19 continues to spread, there’s nothing more important to us than the well-being of our employees, clients, and their families.
Today Governor Tim Walz signed an Executive Order establishing a shelter-in-place mandate for all non-essential businesses and persons. The order begins on Friday, March 27th (3.27.2020) through Friday, April 10th (4/10/2020). The order requires that all non-essential business and operations must cease. Governor Walz deems Homebuilding ESSENTIAL and we will continue business while following three (3) key requirements;
- Minimum Basic Operations
- Essential Travel
- Social Distancing & Required Measures
To meet the requirements listed above and comply with executive order we will be
- Closing our office to the public
- Closing Model Homes (by appointment only)
- Moving all selections to online
- Suspending any In-home services of occupied homes entirely (i.e. Warranty)
We will continue progress on ALL new home projects and at this time are holding all closing dates as is until further notice. Closing will still be allowed to take place and move-in’s with slight changes to the process (more info to come). We are expecting delays in many categories of both material and labor due to COVID-19 and now additionally due to Executive Order. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust accordingly while keeping all parties informed. We will do our very best to keep everyone up to date while keeping our employees, clients, and their families safe. As always if you have any questions please let me know.
Be safe & God Bless!
